In my paintings, I am striving to create wonderful effects of texture and light. I paint both miniature art and in larger sizes.

Miniature art is a genre of painting with a long history that dates back to the scribes of the medieval ages. My miniatures are mostly in 3.5″ x 2.5″ size, framed and ready to hang. I also paint in other miniature sizes (up to 5″x7″ size.)

Various media are used in my paintings. My watercolor miniatures are created using special small brushes for careful detail. I am also painting miniatures in a new media, alcohol ink, which produces intense colors and expressive forms.

Larger paintings are also done both in watercolor and alcohol ink.
