C. Lynn Johnson (“C is for Carol”) is an American contemporary artist. Raised in Michigan’s Upper Penninsula, Johnson now lives in Three Rivers, Michigan.  She received her formal art training at Glen Oaks Community College in St. Joseph County, Michigan, and also studied watercolor painting with Joan Hector in Three Rivers. Her artwork been shown at the Carnegie Center for the Arts in Three Rivers, as well as other gallery spaces and public buildings across the state.

Johnson creates small, beautiful, colorful artwork, seen at art fairs as  La Petite Colours. Her media include poured acrylic as well as beautiful, award-winning miniature paintings (3.5″x2.5″ up to 5″x7″.)  She creates resin trays, hand-painted bookmarks, cards, outdoor decorative signs on metal, larger paintings, prints, and other interesting, fun, and useful things. Her affordable pieces are found at stores and at art fairs around the region.

Johnson is also a charter member of the Three Rivers Artists Guild. She was the Three Rivers Artists Guild’s President, 2014 – 2016, and participates each year in the Guild’s annual Holiday Gallery in downtown Three Rivers, Michigan.
